Question 770850: The instructions say determine the domain for each of the following functions. State if the function is continuous or discontinuous and where any holes or asymptotes occur.
f(x) = 2x +6
I can get the domain but don't understand how to tell if the function is continuous or discontinuous and how to determine if there are any holes or asymptotes. Can you please help me understand how to do this? Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
Your function is a polynomial. All polynomials are continuous over their entire domain, hence no holes. Also, polynomial functions do not have asymptotes.
