The rate is 5 cents per mango, so p mangos would cost 5*p cents
The rate is 5 cents per mango, so 4 mangos would cost 5*4=20 cents
The rate is 5 cents per mango, so x mangos would cost 5*x cents
The rate is 5 cents per mango, so z mangos would cost 5*z cents
The rate is 5 cents per mango, so 1 mango would cost 5*1=5 cents
The rate is 5 cents per mango, so 34 mangos would cost 5*34= 170 cents
The rate is 5 cents per mango, so (y+4)^2 mangos would cost 5*(y+4)^2 cents
Actually, as you can see, it's a little easier when you are dealing in unknowns such as x, y, z
