You can put this solution on YOUR website!
G is point (-2, -3),
H is point (-2, 7),
M is point ( 4, ?)
Solving for the value of M(y):
We use the midpoint formula:(y1+y2)/2
Substitute the y values of point G and H
M(y) = (-3 + 7) /2
Giving us the value of M(y) = 2. (Ans.)

It is known that triangle GHM is isoceles. G is point (-2, -3), H is point (-2, 7), and the x-coordinate of M is 4. Find all five possible values for the y-coordinate of M.

The five possible coordinates are:
(4, - 1)
(4, 15)
(4, - 11)
(4, 5)
(4, 2).

Therefore, the five (5) possible y-values are: highlight_green%28-+1%29, highlight_green%2815%29, highlight_green%28-+11%29, highlight_green%285%29, and highlight_green%282%29
