You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Price ---------------- quantity
bird seed $6.00 ---------------- x pounds
sunflower bird seed $2.00 ------ 20 - x pounds
Mixture 3.00% ---------------- 20
20
6.00% x + 2.00% ( 20 - x ) = 3.00% * 20
6 x + 2 ( 20 - x ) = 60
6 x + 40 - 2 x = 60
6 x - 2 x = 60 - -40
4 x = 20
/ 4
x = 5 pounds $6.00 bird seed
15 pounds $2.00 sunflower bird seed
