Question 768974: A card is drawn at random from a standard card deck. Find the theoretical probability that the card is neither an ace nor a heart. Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
There are 52 cards in the deck. 13 of them are hearts, and one of those is an Ace. Then there are 16 cards that are either an Ace or a heart. That means there are 52 minus 16 cards that are neither Ace nor heart. The probability of anything is the number outcomes that you consider a success divided by the total number of outcomes.
