You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Write an equation of the line that passes through the point and has the specified slope. Sketch the line. m=0, (-5/4, 6)
You can either memorise that the slope of a horizontal line is m=0 and the equation of a horizontal line is y=k. Where k is a constant.
Therefore the equation of this line is highlight%28y=6%29
:
Or you can use the point slope formula of a line highlight%28y-y%5B1%5D=m%28x-x%5B1%5D%29%29
m=0 (x1,y1)=(-5/4,6)
y-6=0%28x-%28-5%2F4%29%29
y-6=0%28x%2B5%2F4%29
y-6=0
y-6%2B6=0%2B6
highlight%28y=6%29
Personally, I think the first way is easier.
Happy Calculating!!!!
