Ans:
Basic pay per week = 400
Commission = 15% of sales over 3000
15% = 0.15
Therefore commission = 0.15 * (Sales - 3000)
Total pay = Basic pay + commission
= 400 + 0.15 * (34000 - 3000)
= 400 + 0.15 * 31000
= 400 + 4650 = $5050
