the sum of 2 consecutive whole numbers,
0+1 = 1

AND ALSO
the sum of 3 consecutive whole numbers, 
0+1+2 = 3

AND ALSO
the sum of 5 consecutive whole numbers.
0+1+2+3+4 = 10
