You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The sum of two numbers is 47. One of the numbers is 2 more than twice the other number. What is the value of the smaller number?
***
let x=smaller of two numbers
2x+2= larger number
x+2x+2=47
3x=45
x=15
2x+2=32
smaller of two numbers=15
