For this 2x-7=5 we first add 7 to get:
2x=12
Now divide by 2:
x=6

Add 7 to both sides
2%2Ax%2Bcross%28-7%29+cross%28%2B7%29+=+5+%2B+7+=+12
2%2Ax+=+12
Divide both sides by 2, to get the value of x

x = 6
