You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-3x%5E2%2B6x has maximum; as you can see coefficient in front ofx%5E2 is negative number -3 and it means parabola opens downward and vertex is maximal point

y=-3x%5E2%2B6x..to find the x-coordinate of the vertex, use -b%2F2a
since a=-3 and b=6, we will have -b%2F2a=-6%2F%28-3%2A2%29=1
the x-coordinate of the vertex is 1
then find the y-coordinate that goes with it by using that value for x in our equation for y=-3x%5E2%2B6x
y=-3%2A1%5E2%2B6%2A1
y=-3%2B6
y=3
so, the vertex is at (1,3)
