Draw a right triangle.

Take the numerator of 2%2F3, which is 2 and put that on the 
opposite side of q, which is side b.

Take the denominator of 2%2F3, which is 3 and put that on 
the hypotenuse, the longest side with is c.



Since the cotangent is %28adjacent%29%2F%28opposite%29,

cot(q) = a%2Fb = sqrt%285%29%2F2
