You can put this solution on YOUR website!
This seems to be an open ended problem. We are not given how many digits the original number.

ONE DIGIT, U
Putting 1 in front, 1%2A10,
1%2A10%2BU=3U
U=5 which seems to work.

TWO DIGIT, TU
Putting 1 in front, 1%2A100,
1%2A100%2BT%2A10%2BU=3U
simplify to
50=10T%2BU, which when examined for the digits possible to satisfy, becomes T=5 and U=0;
TU+=+50 is the only two digit number.

You can try similar process for three and more digit numbers.
