You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Profit is the difference between "selling price" and "cost price" for the store.

"Cost price" is what the store pays the manufacturer.
"Selling price" is what the store sells it to the buyer.

List price = 2400

Since store gets a 48% discount, it pays only (100 - 48 = 52%) of the list price to the manufacturer. So cost price for the store = 2400+%2A+52%2F100+=+1248

Store sells for a discount of 20% off list price, or (100 - 20 = 80%) of the list price. So the selling price for the store = %282400+%2A+80%2F100+=+1920

So the profit for the store = 1920+-+1248+=+672

Profit = $672

Hope you got it.
