Easier to do the cube root process first, and then do the exponentiation by 4.

(-27/8)^4/3 means take the cube root of -1 * (27*27*27*27) / (8*8*8*8)
notice that the cube root of (27*27*27) / (8*8*8) = 27/8, so we have
27/8 * cube root of -1 * 27/8, but 3^3 = 27 and 2^2 =8, so we have
(27*3) / (8*2) * cube root of -1
now the cube root of -1 is -1, so the final answer is
-81/16
