Question 763480: A piggy bank is 1/2 full of pennies. If 50 pennies are added, it is 2/3 full. How many pennies can it hold?
I first set up the problem as .5x + 50 = 2/3x where x would be the 100% of the pennies in the bank, but then I realized I would get a number less than 50. I am not sure where to go with this.

The bank can hold 300 pennies
check:

Add 50- that's 200 pennies full
OK
