Cross multiply
10(2x + 3) = 7(3x + 4)
20x + 30 = 21x + 28
Collect like terms
20x - 21x = 28 - 30
-x = -2
x = 2
Proof:
2x+3/3x+4=7/10
2(2) + 3/3(2) + 4 = 7/10
7/10 = 7/10
