Question 763131: I need help in solving two missing sides (X and Y) of a right triangle. The hypotenuse side is X. The adjacent side is Y. The opposite side is 13.9. The angle located between the adjacent and hypotenuse is 52 degrees. I need to find the lengths of the sides of the adjacent and hypotenuse.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
See the figure below.

For the angle 52, 13.5 is the opposite side, Y is the adjacent side, X is the hypotenuse.
13.5/hypotenuse = 13.5/X = sin(52) = 0.788
So, Hypotenuse X = 13.5/0.788 = highlight%2817.132%29
Similarly, 13.5/Adjacent side = 13.5/Y = tan(52) = 1.28
Adjacent side = 13.5/1.28 = highlight%2810.55%29
