Question 762675: How do i graph this equation?
y=4/3x2+8/3x-8/3
Please give me the Vertex and 4 additional points, 2 on each side of the vertex so i can graph it.
Thanks!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The -coordinate of the vertex of is given by
The -coordinate of the vertex of , namely , is given by the value of the function at , namely:
.
Now that you have the coordinates of the vertex, plot .
As it turns out, is an integer in this problem, so pick another value for that is 1 larger than . Evaluate the function at this value:
.
Then plot . Use the property of symmetry to determine that if is a point on your graph, must also be on the graph.
Calculate and repeat the above process for your other two points, giving you 5 points in all including the vertex.

Egw to Beta kai to Sigma
My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
