Anything parallel to x-y = 1 is of the form x-y = C where C is some fixed number.
x - y = C
(-1) - (2) = C .. plug in x = -1 and y = 2 (from the point (-1,2))
-1 - 2 = C
-3 = C
C = -3
So the answer in standard form is
x - y = -3
