Question 762210: In a school, 3/5 of the students are girls. If the number of boys in the school is 200, find the total number of students in the school.
After travelling 40km , ramu found that he had covered only 4/5 of his total journey. Find the length of his whole journey. Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! If 2/5 of the total number of students
are boys, then the total of pupils
= 500 ((200*5)/2)
If 40km = 4/5 of the journey, then
the whole journey = 50km ((5*40)/4)
Hope this helps.
