SOLUTION: I am trying to get this {{-3x^3(x-2)^2(x+5)=0}} to polynomial function.
the example i have is -3x^3(x-2)^2(x+7)=0 and its saying that the way it should be is -3x^6-9x^5+72x^4-8

I don't understand how I have to distribute the parenthesis. Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! I am trying to get this {{-3x^3(x-2)^2(x+5)=0}} to polynomial function.
the example i have is -3x^3(x-2)^2(x+7)=0 and its saying that the way it should be is -3x^6-9x^5+72x^4-84x^3=0
I don't understand how I have to distribute the parenthesis.

I am trying to get this to polynomial function.
Not sure what you mean by "get ... to polynomial function."
It's an equation. Usually they're to be solved, in this case, for x.
