You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x + 5y = -9
3x - 4y = -2
Solution by elimination. Let us try to eliminate x, by making the coefficient of x the same in both the eqns.
Multiply first equation by 3
6%2Ax+%2B+15%2Ay+=+-27 ---> (A)
Multiply second equation by 2
6%2Ax+-+8%2Ay+=+-4 ---> (B)
Subtract (B) from (A)
23%2Ay+=+-23
So y+=+-1
Substituting for y in 1st equation
2%2Ax+%2B+5%2A-1+=+-9
2%2Ax+=+-4
x+=+-2
Ordered pair is (-2,-1)
