You can put this solution on YOUR website!
speed S is inversely proportional to the time t
S = k/t
Where k is constant of proportionality.
To find k use given information:
S = k/t
10 = k/0.75
k = 0.75 * 10
k = 7.5
Your formula:
S = 7.5/t
using formula:-
S = 7.5/t
S = 7.5/0.5
S = 15 mph
Hope this helps.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I can say +s+=+k%2A%28+1%2Ft+%29+
given:
+d+=+10%2A%2845%2F60%29+
and
+d+=+s%5B1%5D%2A%28+30%2F60%29+ ( I'm calling the unknown speed +s%5B1%5D+ )
--------------------
In this case, +k+, which is the constant of
proportionality, turns out to be +d+ since
+s+=+d%2A%28+1%2Ft+%29+ also
-------------------
(1) +k+=+10%2A%2845%2F60%29+
(1) +k+=+45%2F6+
(1) +k+=+15%2F2+
and
(2) +k+=+s%5B1%5D%2A%2830%2F60%29+
(2) +15%2F2+=+s%5B1%5D%2A%281%2F2%29+
(2) +s%5B1%5D+=+15+
The answer is 15 mph
