You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find the equation (in slope intercept form) of the line passing through the points with the line passing through the points given the coordinates. (-5, 1), (-4, 2)
Solution:
slope = (2-1)/(-4+5) = 1
Then equation: y = 1x+ b
(-5,1) is on the line then: 1 = 1(-5)+b
1 = -5+b
Then b = 6
Answer: y = x+6
