Question 759422: My question involves a word problem.
Katie got a 5% discount for paying cash for her furniture purchase.
She paid $2850.00 for the furniture. What would the price have been if she had charged her purchase ?
So I translated that to $2850.00 is 5% less than what number.
Could you please show the process for figuring this.
Thank you,
Tom
