I don't need you to use the definitions, I can do that. I just put those on here so you can see what I'm looking for in solving the problem. However I would like to know how to solve this problem. If I am not mistaken you would subtract 1/2-2 which would give you -1 1/2. I find myself lost from there and I'm not even sure if that part is right. Please help. Thanks!
