You can put this solution on YOUR website! How do I solve (4c + 6)^2
----------------------
= (4c+6)(4c+6)
----
= (4c+6)(4c) + (4c+6)(6)
---------------
= 16c^2 + 24c + 24c + 36
---------------
= 16c^2 + 48c + 36

So if you know the FOIL method, this problem becomes a lot easier to solve. The FOIL method is: [F]irst [O]uter [I]nner [L]ast
Multiply the first terms from each of the parenthesis: 4c*4c=16c2
Next multiply the outer terms: 4c*6=24c
Then multiply the inner terms: 6*4c=24c
Finally multiply the last terms:6*6=36
