You can put this solution on YOUR website!
ln(x)+ln(6x+1)=ln5
adding logs is multiply, so write it:
ln(x(6x+1)) = ln(5)
logs are equal, values are equal
x(6x+1) = 5
A quadratic equation
6x^2 + x - 5 = 0
Factors to
(6x-5)(x+1) = 0
two solutions
6x = 5
x = 5%2F6
and
x = -1
Only the positive solution will work in logs so
x = 5%2F6
