Question 756522: hey i have a question how would i find the probability in this question "In a cup there are 4 quarters, 5 dimes, 6 nickels and 10 pennies. If one coin is selected at random, what is the probability that the coin has a letter "n" in its name?"

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find how many of the coins in the cup have "n" in their names.
That is 6 nickels + 10 pennies = 16 coins with "n" in their names.

Divide by the total number of coins.
The total is 4 quarters + 5 dimes + 6 nickels + 10 pennies = 25 coins
16%2F25 of the coins have "n" in their names.
So the probability that one coin selected at random has a letter "n" in its name is
16%2F25=0.64=64%
