You can put this solution on YOUR website!

log[27](x-1)-log[27](x-3)=1/3 I need to solve this and I just can't figure it out, could you please help me?

Did you try? If so, where's your work?

log+%2827%2C+%28x+-+1%29%29+-+log+%2827%2C+%28x+-+3%29%29+=+1%2F3

log+%2827%2C+%28%28x+-+1%29%2F%28x+-+3%29%29%29+=+1%2F3

%28x+-+1%29%2F%28x+-+3%29+=+27%5E%281%2F3%29

%28x+-+1%29%2F%28x+-+3%29+=+3

3(x – 3) = x – 1 ----- Cross-multiplying

3x – 9 = x – 1

3x – x = - 1 + 9

2x = 8

x+=+8%2F2, or highlight_green%28x+=+4%29

You can do the check!!
