You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since we know the circumference, we can find the radius using this formula:
C=2%2Api%2Ar
16%2Api=2%2Api%2Ar Plug in C=16%2Api to find r
%2816%2Api%29%2F%282%2Api%29=cross%28%282%2Api%29%2F%282%2Api%29%29%2Ar Divide both sides by 2%2Api
r=%2816%2Across%28pi%29%29%2F%282%2Across%28pi%29%29 The pi terms cancel and 16/2=8
r=8
Now use this formula to find the area:
A=pi%2Ar%5E2
A=pi%2A8%5E2
A=64%2Api There's the exact answer
