Let s = the speed of the faster cyclist
Then 2/3s = the speed of the other cyclist
Since they are moving toward one another their RELATIVE speed = s + 2/3s =5/3s
If they pass each other in 2 hrs, their relative speed = 25 mi/2h = 12.5 mi/h
Solve for s:
(5/3)s = 12.5 -> s = 7.5
So their speeds are 7.5 mi/h and 5 mi/h
