Question 75546: did i factor this right?
5x^2-4xy+5x-4y
5x^2-4xy+5x-4y
(5x^2*4xy+5x)-4y
5x^2+4xy+5x=(1+2x)(1+5x)
=(x+2x)^2

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5x^2-4xy+5x-4y
Factor the 1st two and then the last two terms separately:
x(5x-4y)+(5x-4y)
Factor out the common factor to get:
(5x+4y)(x+1)
