Question 755445: there are 25 students in chemistry class and 23 students taking physics seven students are both in classes how many individuals are enrolled in either of the classes or both? Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
If 25 are taking Chemistry, but 7 of those are taking Physics as well, then 25 minus 7 = 18 are taking ONLY Chemistry. Likewise, 16 are ONLY taking Physics. So OnlyC + Both + OnlyP is the number you want.
