Question 755291: What is the measure of the vertex angle of an isosceles triangle if one of the base angles measures 58°? Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! The vertex angle is always opposite the base
in an isosceles triangle.
It lies between the equal length legs.
If one of the base angles equals 58 degrees, then the
other base angle also equals 58 degrees.
180 -(58 + 58) = 64 degrees. This is the vertex angle.
Hope this helps.
