"Jim had x Marbles and Won 18. How many does he have now? When Jim counted his marbles he found he had three times as many as when he started. How many did he have to start with?"
I believe he has x + 18 in the first question but im confused with what i should do with the second one.

b) x+18=3x
=> 2x=18 => x=9
