f%28x%29=-23x+%2B16; g%28x%29=+%28x-16%29%2F-23
Are f and g inverses of each other?
first find inverses of g

-23%2Ag%28x%29=+%28x-16%29 ...switch g%28x%29 and x to get g%5E-1%28x%29
-23x=+g%5E-1%28x%29-16
-23x%2B16=+g%5E-1%28x%29
so, f%28x%29=g%5E-1%28x%29 and f and g are inverses of each other
