C = k/N
(k is the constant of proportionality)
To find k put the known values into the formula
C = k/N
$22 = k/25
so k = 22*25
k = 550
Therefore your formula is:-
C = 550/N
To solve problem:
C = 550/N
C = 550/40
C = $13.75
