Question 753977: My friend has 4 miles left before he logs 40,000 lifetime miles run. If he had run consecutively, starting in Michigan, is there a way to calculate what country he would now be in. I know he would be on his second trip around the world, but would like to figure where he would be.
Thank you
Linda

You can put this solution on YOUR website! My friend has 4 miles left before he logs 40,000 lifetime miles run. If he had run consecutively, starting in Michigan, is there a way to calculate what country he would now be in. I know he would be on his second trip around the world, but would like to figure where he would be.
----------------
It depends on direction.
Use a globe and a string to find possible end points, preferably on the dirt.
