Remove brackets remembering to
multiply everything in 2nd bracket
by -1
x + 4x^2 - 1/2 - 1/4 + 11x^2 + 4x
Collect like terms
4x^2 + 11x^2 + x +4x -1/2 - 1/4
15x^2 + 5x - 3/4
