Solve 6x-2=4x +13 for x.
put like terms on the same side of the quation, so
+2 on each side
6x = 4x +15
-4x on each side
2x = 15
so x = 7 and a half

6x-4x-2+2=4x-4x+13+2
2x=15
(2x)/2=15/2


x=15/2
