x = the card is a diamond
13 diamonds out of 52 cards.  That's a probability of
13 out of 52 or 13%2F52 which reduces to 1%2F4 

y = the card is red
26 red cards out of 52 cards.  That's a probability of
26 out of 52 or 26%2F52 which reduces to 1%2F2 

z = the card is {5,6,7}
There are 4 5's, 4 6's and 4 7's.  That's 12 cards out of
52 cards.  That's a probability of 12 out of 52 or 12%2F52 
which reduces to 3%2F13
