Question 75154:  Please help...Thanks!!
If a line contains the points (1,3), (2,6) and (3,9) determine and write the slope-intercept form of the equation, provide one additional point on this line in (x,y) form, and graph the function.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! FIRST WE FIND THE SLOPE (Y2-Y1)/(X2-X1)
(6-3)/(2-1)
3/3=3 IS THE SLOPE.
NOW USING THE LINE FORMULA AND ONE SET OF POINTS WE CAN FIND THE Y INTERCEPT.
3=3*1+b
3=3+b
b=3-3
b=0 THUS THE EQUATION IS
Y=3X
SETTING Y=12 WE SOLVE FOR X
12=3*X
3X=12
X=12/3
X=4 OR (4,12) FOR THE ADDITIONAL POINT ON THIS LINE
  (graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, y = 3x).
