You can put this solution on YOUR website! We know that the length is 5 cm greater than it's width.
Then width must be "x" and length must be "x+5"
Using P=2L+2L
P=2(x+5)+2(x)
We also know that P=106cm
106=2(x+5)+2(x)
106=2x+10+2x
106=4x+10
Subtract 10 from both sides
(106)-10=(4x+10)-10
96=4x
Divide 4 from both sides =
24=x
Width=24 cm
Length=x+5=24+5=29 cm
