Question 75143: I am getting confused on this algebra problem. The directions are to simplify the radical and to assume that all variables represent positive real numbers.
I think I got the wrong answer when I tried to work it.
3 is the index of the radical and underneath the radical is 54a to the 5th power, c to the 7th power, and e to the 9th power.
Thanks for the help

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3 is the index of the radical and underneath the radical is 54a to the 5th power, c to the 7th power, and e to the 9th power.
:
3sqrt%2854a%5E5%2Ac%5E7%2Ae%5E9%29
:
we want to extract as much as we can from the radical, this is the equivalent
divided up to illustrate the 3rd powers which can be extracted from a cube rt
:
3sqrt%2827%2A2%2Aa%5E3%2Aa%5E2%2Ac%5E3%2Ac%5E3%2Ac%2Ae%5E3%2Ae%5E3%2Ae%5E3%29
:
3%2Aa%2Ac%2Ac%2Ae%2Ae%2Ae*3sqrt%282%2Aa%5E2%2Ac%29
:
Which is
3%2Aa%2Ac%5E2%2Ae%5E3 3sqrt%282%2Aa%5E2%2Ac%29
:
do you have any questions about this?
