Question 751307: some help me with this!
Suppose you apply a force of 50 N to a box of mass 3 kg. The force of friction opposing the motion of the box is 16 N. What is the acceleration of the box in units of m/s2?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(duplicate question)

net force = (force applied) - (force by friction) = 50 - 16 = 34 N
mass = 3 kg

F = ma

a = F/m = (34 N)/(3 kg) = 11.33 m/s^2
