Question 750133: Train A leaves a station traveling at 80 kilometers per hour. Four hours later, train B leaves the same station traveling in the same direction at 90 kilometers per hour. How long does it take train B to catch up to trian A? Answer by sachi(548) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! let train B catches A after x hrs
in x hrs b travels 90x km
& in x+4 hrs A travels 80(x+4) as A left 4 hrs before
now both distances are same
so 90x=80(x+4)=80x+320
or 10x=320
or x=32 hrs
