log(base 8)(x+9) - log(base 8)(x-1) = 1/3

(x+9)/(x-1)=8^(1/3) (exponential form)
(x+9)/(x-1)=8^(1/3)
(x+9)/(x-1)=2
x+9=2x-2
x=11
