You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If four men working at the same rate can do 2/3 of a job in 40 minutes,
then the number of minutes (m)to complete the job is:
2%2F3m = 40
2m = 3 * 40
2m = 120
m = 60 min for four men to do the job
therefore
4 * 60 = 240 man-minutes to do the job
:
how many minutes would it take one man working at this rate to do 2/5 of the job?
1m = 2%2F5*240
1m = 96 minutes for 1 man to do 2/5 of the job
